PES has excellent thermal properties and oxidation stability. It has been certified by UL for continuous use at 180℃ that it is insoluble in polar solvents such as ketones and some halogenated hydrocarbons, and meets the UL94V-0 flame retardant requirements. It is resistant to hydrolysis, most acids, bases, fatty hydrocarbons, alcohols, oils and lipids, and has good toughness, rigidity and wear resistance, higher hardness, and outstanding electrical properties. In addition, the products are featured with good weather resistance, flame retardant and low smoke density, good electrical properties, transparent, amorphous resin, and small mold shrinkage. PES can be processed into high tolerance and thin wall products. The resin meets FDA requirements and can be used in food contact parts.
